UK's #1 fireworks night Will sell out early

Why Abingdon is bigger than a typical Bonfire Night

Scale on fireworks is not just "more shells". It is firing positions, width of sky, duration, and whether the crowd is looking at a line of fireworks or standing inside the show. Abingdon uses a 270° wrap-around design. Fireworks surround the audience. Lasers and lighting run with the music. The site is Abingdon Airfield, so the horizon is wide.

That is why the event is billed as the UK's biggest fireworks display, with the South of England's biggest fairground on the same night.

What the night includes

Capacity is down for 2026 on purpose. Fewer tickets, a more exclusive night, and an early sell-out is expected.
